We're seeking a dedicated physician to join our team and conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for veterans with traumatic brain injuries. What You'll Do:
Review pertinent medical history documentation.
Conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for veterans.
Capture exam responses through a web-based form.
Complete all documentation electronically.
Assess injuries related to motor vehicle accidents, sports, and combat exposure.
Order diagnostic testing (MoCA, neuropsychological testing, X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) as clinically indicated.
What You'll Bring:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or Psychiatry.
Experience evaluating for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Primary care experience.
Active and unrestricted license in your specialty.
Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good interpersonal skills and adaptability.
Basic computer skills.
Full vaccination status (per CDC and state guidelines).
